Abstract
A light assembly includes a light source, a first lens and a first lens holder coupled around the light source holding the first lens in a fixed position relative to the light source. A second lens and a second lens holder are rotatably coupled to the first lens holder holding the second lens optically adjacent to the first lens. The second lens holder and the second lens are rotatable relative to the first lens and the first lens holder.
Claims18
A light assembly comprising:
- a light source;
- a first lens;
- a first lens holder coupled around the light source holding the first lens in a fixed position relative to the light source, the first lens holder comprising a recess on an outer surface;
- a second lens;
- a second lens holder rotatably coupled to the first lens holder and holding the second lens optically adjacent to the first lens, the second lens holder comprises a finger having a tab, said tab adjacent to a surface of a base of a heat sink subassembly, said finger disposed within the recess, said second lens holder and the second lens rotatable relative to the first lens and the first lens holder;
- a heat sink assembly;
- a mount coupled to the heat sink subassembly comprising a retainer slot;
- and
- a retainer extending longitudinally from the first lens holder, the retainer received by the retainer slot.

- a heat sink subassembly;
- a light source coupled to the heat sink subassembly;
- a first lens;
- a first lens holder coupled around the light source holding the first lens in a fixed position relative to the light source;
- a second lens;
- and
- a second lens holder rotatably coupled to the first lens holder and holding the second lens optically adjacent to the first lens, said second lens holder and the second lens rotatable relative to the first lens and the first lens holder,
- the first lens holder comprises a plurality of recesses on an outer surface and wherein the second lens holder comprises fingers having a tab, said tab adjacent to a surface of a base of the heat sink subassembly, said fingers disposed within respective recesses;
- and
- a mount coupled to a heat sink subassembly and a retainer extending longitudinally from the first lens holder, said mount comprising a retainer slot receiving the retainer.
