Electrical submersible motor protecting system and method with chemical chamber

An electric submersible pump system for use in a wellbore comprising:

• a pump;
• a motor protection component having an oil chamber and a wellbore fluid chamber;
• a motor component, the motor component comprising oil and being fluidly coupled to the oil chamber of the motor protection component;
• and
• a chemical chamber that includes a neutralization chemical;
• the chemical chamber being configured to contact fluid from the wellbore with the neutralization chemical and being fluidly coupled to the wellbore fluid chamber of the motor protection component;
• wherein the pump is configured to be driven by the motor component;
• wherein the chemical chamber comprises a filter located between the neutralization chemical and the motor protection component.

An electric submersible pump system for use in a wellbore comprising:

• a pump;
• a motor protection component having an oil chamber and a wellbore fluid chamber;
• a motor component, the motor component comprising oil and being fluidly coupled to the oil chamber of the motor protection component;
• and
• a chemical chamber that includes a neutralization chemical;
• the chemical chamber being configured to contact fluid from the wellbore with the neutralization chemical and being fluidly coupled to the wellbore fluid chamber of the motor protection component;
• wherein the pump is configured to be driven by the motor component;
• wherein tubing is fluidly coupled to the chemical chamber at one end and at another end is fluidly coupled to the wellbore fluid chamber of the motor protection component.
