Abstract
A display panel according to the present invention includes a display panel and a cover member disposed on the display panel. The cover member includes a glass plate having a first surface and a second surface, at least the first surface being chemically strengthened, and an optical layer that is layered on the second surface of the glass plate and faces the outside. In the glass plate, the depth of the compressive stress layer (dol) in the first surface is larger than that in the second surface.
Claims17
A display device, comprising:
- a display panel;
- and
- a cover member disposed on the display panel,
- wherein the cover member includes:
- a glass plate having a first surface and a second surface, at least the first surface being chemically strengthened;
- and
- an optical layer that is layered on the second surface of the glass plate and faces the outside, and
- in the glass plate, a depth of a compressive stress layer (dol) in the first surface is larger than that in the second surface,
- wherein the optical layer contains at least a matrix and spherical particles,
- the particles form protrusions and depressions on a surface of the optical layer on a side opposite to the second surface, and
- the optical layer includes a first region that is plateau-shaped in which the particles are piled up in a thickness direction of the layer, and a valley-shaped second region that surrounds the first region or is surrounded by the first region.
A cover member to be included in a display device having a display panel, comprising:
- a glass plate having a first surface and a second surface, at least the first surface being chemically strengthened;
- and
- an optical layer that is layered on the second surface of the glass plate and faces the outside,
- wherein, in the glass plate, a depth of a compressive stress layer (dol) in the first surface is larger than that in the second surface,
- the optical layer contains at least a matrix and spherical particles,
- the particles form protrusions and depressions on a surface of the optical layer on a side opposite to the second surface, and
- the optical layer includes a first region that is plateau-shaped in which the particles are piled up in a thickness direction of the layer, and a valley-shaped second region that surrounds the first region or is surrounded by the first region.
