Abstract
Systems and methods for performing laser cataract surgery, for using a biometric system to determine a material property of a structure of the eye, laser pulses in a laser shot pattern having different powers. A therapeutic laser, and laser delivery system having the capability to vary the power of the laser beam.
Claims25
An ophthalmic laser system for planning treatments and treating conditions of the eye, the system comprising:
- a. a therapeutic laser for delivering a therapeutic laser beam;
- b. an optical beam delivery system;
- c. a means for determining one or more of a shape, a position, or a material property of an eye;
- d. a graphic user interface;
- e. wherein the therapeutic laser and the optical beam delivery system are in optical communication;
- f. a plurality of laser shot patterns;
- g. a plurality of image windows for displaying and receiving information;
- h. a control system, comprising a processor and a storage device;
- i. wherein the control system is in communication with the therapeutic laser, the optical beam delivery system, the means for determining, and the graphic user interface;
- j. wherein the control system is configured to deliver the laser shot patterns;
- k. wherein the system is configured to display on the graphic user interface one or more of the plurality of image widows;
- and,
- l. wherein the one or more image widows comprise:
- i. a depth metric window, the depth metric comprising an incision depth window;
- ii. a radial locations window, the radial locations window comprising an ATR window and a WTR window;
- iii. an against the rule window;
- and,
- iv. a with the rule window.
