Abstract
The present application provides a long-distance transportation case for long-distance transportation of black soldier fly eggs and larvae, including a case body, a case cover, and a plurality of insulation components inside the case body; wherein the insulation component comprises a sealed bag with a phase-transition material filled therein; and the plurality of insulation components are arranged in the transportation case to form a holding space for accommodating the egg boxes. The present application also provides a transportation method for black soldier fly eggs and larvae.
Claims6
A long-distance transportation method for transportation of black soldier fly eggs and larvae using a transportation case, the method comprising:
- providing the transportation case comprising a case body, a case cover, and a plurality of insulation components placed inside the case body to form a holding space, wherein each insulation component of the plurality of insulation components comprises a sealed bag filled with a phase-transition material having a phase-transition temperature range of 17° C. to 22° C. at which the phase-transition material transitions from solid to fluid;
- placing the black soldier fly eggs, larvae, and padding into egg boxes;
- sealing ventilation holes on the egg boxes with breathable tissues;
- placing the egg boxes into the holding space inside the transportation case;
- placing one of the plurality of insulation components inside the transportation case above the egg boxes, the egg boxes covered with the case cover;
- and
- sealing the transportation case for transportation.
