Abstract
To suppress the degradation of sealing property of a pressure vessel and the deterioration of a sealing member, and to reduce the workload and cost of manufacture, a blow molding device includes a pair of molds configured to be clamped to sandwich a parison from both lateral sides, and a blow pin configured to form a neck portion together with the molds. The blow pin includes a blow pin body portion having an outer circumferential surface of a shape corresponding to an inner circumferential surface of the neck portion, and a ring portion forming an annular recess portion between the blow pin body portion and the ring portion to form an outer circumferential surface of a tip portion of the neck portion, which is a smooth surface without any parting line.
Claims10
A blow molding device for manufacturing a resin liner for a pressure vessel, the resin liner including a tubular neck portion having a tip portion to which a cap member is fitted externally, the blow molding device comprising:
- a pair of molds configured to be clamped so as to sandwich, from both lateral sides, a parison from which the resin liner is formed, the pair of molds defining a cavity having a shape corresponding to a contour of a main body portion of the resin liner;
- and
- a blow pin configured to form the neck portion together with the molds and having an air supply opening to be arranged inside the parison,
- wherein the blow pin includes:
- a blow pin body portion provided with an air supply passage that leads to the air supply opening and having an outer circumferential surface of a shape corresponding to an inner circumferential surface of the neck portion;
- a ring portion provided coaxially with the blow pin body portion;
- and
- an annular recess portion defined between the blow pin body portion and the ring portion to form an outer circumferential surface of the tip portion of the neck portion to which the cap member is fitted externally, the annular recess portion being recessed in a recess direction away from the cavity,
- wherein the blow pin defines an air release passage extending from a bottom of the annular recess portion, and
- wherein the ring portion is slidable in an axial direction thereof with respect to the blow pin body portion.
