Abstract
The present application is directed to devices, assemblies, systems and methods for targeting one or more sites with electromagnetic radiation. The devices, assemblies and systems are operationally configured to transform and convey electromagnetic radiation to one or more targeted sites. The devices, assemblies and systems may also convey one or more fluids or fluid solutions to the one or more targeted sites.
Claims12
A method, comprising:
- emanating a photo-active drug with electromagnetic radiation during delivery of the photo-active drug to a target site of a target subject via a device in fluid communication and in radiant communication with the target subject, the device including:
- a first opening within the device for receiving the electromagnetic radiation therein;
- a second opening within the device for receiving the electromagnetic radiation and a fluid including the photo-active drug therein;
- and
- an outlet operationally configured to emit the electromagnetic radiation and the fluid including the photo-active drug out from the device;
- wherein the first opening is fluidly sealed from the second opening;
- and
- wherein the photo-active drug entering the second opening is emanated with the electromagnetic radiation entering the second opening via the first opening.
