A method of administering a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of 2-{[3,5-bis (trifluoromethyl)phenyl]carbamoyl}-4-chlorophenyl dihydrogen phosphate (Formula I)
- by injection to a human who has cerebral edema in need thereof, wherein the method comprises mixing the compound of Formula I, an amine, and an aqueous solution, to form a composition and administering the composition thus obtained 24 hours or less after the mixing to the human.
