Abstract
Systems and methods of controlling an air compressor are provided. A system of a vehicle can establish a bi-directional connection with a controller of an air compressor of the vehicle. The system can present, via a graphical user interface displayed on a display device, an icon for a preset configured with a target pressure for a type of object. The system can transmit, via the bi-directional connection responsive to a selection of the preset, an instruction to the controller to activate the air compressor to inflate the object to the target pressure.
Claims18
A system, comprising:
- a data processing system of a vehicle, the data processing system comprising one or more processors coupled with memory and configured to execute instructions to:
- establish a bi-directional connection with a controller of an air compressor of the vehicle;
- present, via a graphical user interface displayed on a display device:
- an icon for a preset configured with a target pressure for a type of object;
- and
- a second icon to activate the air compressor in a free flowing air mode without any target pressure for an object coupled to the air compressor;
- transmit, via the bi-directional connection responsive to a selection of the preset, an instruction to the controller to activate the air compressor to inflate the type of object to the target pressure;
- prevent the activation of the air compressor based on the pressure measured for the object exceeding a threshold;
- and
- present, via the graphical user interface, a notification that indicates the air compressor is deactivated responsive to the prevention.
A method, comprising:
- establishing, by one or more processors of a vehicle coupled with memory, a bi-directional connection with a controller of an air compressor of the vehicle;
- presenting, by the one or more processors via a graphical user interface displayed on a display device:
- an icon for a preset configured with a target pressure for a type of object;
- and
- a second icon to activate the air compressor in a free flowing air mode without any target pressure for an object coupled to the air compressor;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors via the bi-directional connection responsive to a selection of the preset, an instruction to the controller to activate the air compressor to inflate the type of object to the target pressure;
- preventing, by the one or more processors, the activation of the air compressor based on the pressure measured for the object exceeding a threshold;
- and
- presenting, via the graphical user interface, a notification that indicates the air compressor is deactivated responsive to the prevention.
A vehicle, comprising:
- an air compressor located within an enclosure of the vehicle;
- a controller configured to activate the air compressor;
- a display device located within a cabin of the vehicle;
- and
- one or more processors coupled with memory to:
- establish a bi-directional connection with the controller;
- present, via a graphical user interface displayed on the display device:
- an icon for a preset configured with a target pressure for a type of object;
- and
- a second icon to activate the air compressor in a free flowing air mode without any target pressure for an object coupled to the air compressor;
- transmit, via the bi-directional connection responsive to a selection of the preset, an instruction to the controller to activate the air compressor to inflate the type of object to the target pressure;
- prevent the activation of the air compressor based on the pressure measured for the object exceeding a threshold;
- and
- present, via the graphical user interface, a notification that indicates the air compressor is deactivated responsive to the prevention.
