Abstract
The invention relates to a crimping pliers force sensor. The crimping pliers force sensor comprises a transfer body which is contacted by a die half and a supporting body. At least one piezoelectric film is arranged between the transfer body and the supporting body. The transfer body and the supporting body comprise protrusions and recesses. By the protrusions and recesses the transfer body is floatingly accommodated in the supporting body with the provision of a guidance in a transversal plane.
Claims20
A crimping pliers force sensor for crimping pliers having a pliers part, the crimping pliers force sensor comprising
- a) a transfer body comprising a contact surface for a die back of a die half,
- b) a supporting body which comprises a mounting portion for mounting the supporting body to the pliers part of the crimping pliers and
- c) at least one piezoelectric film arranged between the transfer body and the supporting body,
- d) wherein the supporting body comprises at least one protrusion having a longitudinal axis extending parallel to a crimping axis and wherein the transfer body comprises at least one recess,
- e) the at least one protrusion and the at least one recess
- ea) guiding the transfer body and the supporting body relatively to each other for a relative movement along a degree of freedom having an orientation parallel to the crimping axis and
- eb) providing a guiding force having an orientation transverse to the crimping axis.
Crimping pliers comprising
- a) a crimping pliers force sensor comprising
- aa) a transfer body comprising a contact surface for a die back of a die half,
- ab) a supporting body which comprises a mounting portion for mounting the supporting body to a pliers part of the crimping pliers and
- ac) at least one piezoelectric film arranged between the transfer body and the supporting body,
- ad) wherein the supporting body comprises at least one protrusion having a longitudinal axis extending parallel to a crimping axis and the transfer body comprises at least one recess,
- ae) the at least one protrusion and the at least one recess guiding the transfer body and the supporting body relatively to each other for a relative movement along a degree of freedom having an orientation parallel to the crimping axis and providing a guiding force having an orientation transverse to the crimping axis,
- b) a fixed pliers part with a fixed hand lever, the supporting body being held on the fixed pliers part,
- c) a toggle lever driver which is supported on the fixed pliers part and
- d) a moveable hand lever and a moveable pliers jaw which are connected to each other by a toggle lever drive.
A crimping pliers force sensor for crimping pliers having a pliers part, the crimping pliers force sensor comprising
- a) a transfer body comprising a contact surface for a die back of a die half,
- b) a supporting body which comprises a mounting portion for mounting the supporting body to the pliers part of the crimping pliers and
- c) at least one piezoelectric film arranged between the transfer body and the supporting body,
- d) wherein the supporting body comprises at least one recess, and wherein the transfer body comprises at least one protrusion having a longitudinal axis extending parallel to a crimping axis,
- e) the at least one protrusion and the at least one recess
- ea) guiding the transfer body and the supporting body relatively to each other for a relative movement along a degree of freedom having an orientation parallel to the crimping axis and
- eb) providing a guiding force having an orientation transverse to the crimping axis.
