Abstract
A method of hydrogen generation may include contacting sodium borohydride (NaBH4) and water in the presence of a catalyst including a nanocomposite comprising graphitic C3N4, MO3, and MgAl2O4 in a mass relationship to each other in a range of from 5 to 15:2 to 7:75 to 95, at a temperature in a range of from 10 to 80° C., thereby catalyzing the hydrogen generation at a hydrogen generation rate in a range of from 2750 to 6000 mL/(min·g).
Claims19
A method of hydrogen generation, the method comprising:
- reacting sodium borohydride with water in the presence of a catalyst comprising a nanocomposite comprising graphitic C3N4, MoO3, and MgAl2O4 in a mass relationship to each other in a range of from 5 to 15:2 to 7:75 to 95, at a temperature in a range of from 10 to 80° C., thereby catalyzing the hydrogen generation at a hydrogen generation rate in a range of from 2750 to 6000 mL of H2/(min·g of the nanocomposite),
- wherein the nanocomposite has a particle size in a range of from 1 to 500 nm.
