Abstract
Provided are a welding apparatus and a method, including a welding torch, a wire nozzle, a support stand that supports the welding torch and the wire nozzle with a predetermined distance therebetween, and a first support mechanism that supports the support stand so that the support stand is rotatable around a first support axis that is along a direction in which the welding torch and the wire nozzle are arranged.
Claims9
A welding apparatus, comprising:
- a welding torch;
- a wire nozzle to be placed near the tip of the welding torch;
- a support stand that supports the welding torch and the wire nozzle with a predetermined interval therebetween and the relative position between the welding torch and the wire nozzle is fixed;
- a first support mechanism that supports the support stand so that the support stand is rotatable around a first support axis that is along a direction in which the welding torch and the wire nozzle are arranged;
- and
- a second support mechanism that rotatably supports the first support mechanism so that the support stand rotates around a second support axis that is orthogonal to the first support axis and is along a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the welding torch.
