Abstract
A method for promoting the solubility of rhamnogalacturonan I (RG-I) pectin based on polysaccharide interaction is provided. The method includes the following steps: adding an aqueous solution of negatively charged polysaccharides to an RG-I pectin extract, mixing uniformly, adjusting the potential of Hydrogen (pH) of the compound to 3-7, performing ethanol precipitation to obtain a precipitate; washing the precipitate, followed by drying and crushing to obtain a polysaccharide-pectin compound; where the RG-I pectin extract is obtained by extracting orange peel powder with dilute hydrochloric acid.
Claims10
A method for promoting a solubility of rhamnogalacturonan I (RG-I) pectin based on polysaccharide interaction, wherein the method comprises following steps:
- adding an aqueous solution of negatively charged polysaccharides into an RG-I pectin extract, mixing uniformly, adjusting pH of a compound to 3-7, and then performing ethanol precipitation to obtain a precipitate;
- washing the precipitate, followed by drying and crushing to obtain a polysaccharide-pectin compound;
- and
- wherein the RG-I pectin extract is obtained by extracting orange peel powder with dilute hydrochloric acid.
