Abstract
A method for producing an iodine-containing compound includes reacting a halogen-containing organic iodine compound and a compound containing a reactive carbon-carbon double bond in the presence of a compound of Formula (21) or Formula (22). Each of R21, R23 and R24 represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, or an organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R22 represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, an organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a boron-containing group; R25 represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, an organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a silicon-containing group; and each of A1 and A2 represents a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, or an iodine atom.
Claims14
A method for producing an iodine-containing compound, the method comprising reacting Compound (10) having a substructure represented by the following Formula (1) and a compound represented by the following Formula (3) in the presence of at least one selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the following Formula (21) and a compound represented by the following Formula (22):
- wherein, in Formula (1), * represents a binding site bonded to an organic group;
- X represents a fluorine atom or a chlorine atom;
- X1 represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom, or —CX5X6X7;
- and each of X5 to X′ independently represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, or a chlorine atom;
- wherein, in Formula (21), R21 represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms;
- R22 represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a boron-containing group, wherein a boron atom in the boron-containing group is bonded to the boron atom in Formula (21);
- R21 and R22 may be linked to form a ring structure;
- A1 represents a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, or an iodine atom;
- and the boron atom in Formula (21) may be further coordinated with a ligand;
- wherein, in Formula (22), each of R23 and R24 independently represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and R25 represents a hydrogen atom, an iodine atom, a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a silicon-containing group, wherein a silicon atom in the silicon-containing group is bonded to the silicon atom in Formula (22), with the proviso that not all of R23 to R25 are hydrogen atoms;
- two or more of R23, R24, and R25 may be linked to form a ring structure;
- and A2 represents a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, or an iodine atom;
- and
- wherein, in Formula (3), each of R1 to R4 independently represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group having from 1 to 40 carbon atoms;
- and R1 and R4, or R2 and R3 may be linked to form a ring structure.
