A pharmaceutical composition for treating multiple sclerosis in a subject, said pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- copper nanoclusters;
- and
- a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient;
- wherein said copper nanoclusters comprise a ligand;
- and
- wherein the ligand-modified copper nanoclusters have a diameter in the range of 0.5-5 nm.
