Abstract
The invention provides to a powdered composition of additives and a method of use thereof for increasing the visibility, potency and coverage of disinfectant solutions, such as bleach.
Claims12
A method for increasing the visibility of a disinfectant solution applied to a surface or an object, the method comprising mixing an amount of a solid or liquid composition comprising a colorant with a disinfectant solution immediately prior to use, wherein the amount of the solid or liquid composition is sufficient to color the disinfectant solution;
- applying the colored disinfectant solution to the surface or object as a spray or film;
- wherein, after application to the surface or object, the color of the disinfectant solution clearly marks where the spray or film has or has not been applied to the surface or object;
- and wherein the color of the disinfectant solution fades to clear within a period of time.
