Abstract
An inductor includes a first magnetic body having a toroidal shape and having a ferrite; and a second magnetic body configured to be different from the first magnetic body and including a metal ribbon, wherein the second magnetic body includes an outer magnetic body disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the first magnetic body and an inner magnetic body disposed on an inner circumferential surface of the first magnetic body, and each of the outer magnetic body and inner magnetic body is wound in a plurality of layers in a circumferential direction of the first magnetic body.
Claims20
A magnetic element, comprising:
- a first magnetic member having a toroidal shape;
- and
- a second magnetic member disposed on at least one of an inner surface of the first magnetic member or an outer surface of the first magnetic member,
- wherein a first vertical length of the first magnetic member along an axial direction differs from a second vertical length of the second magnetic member along the axial direction,
- wherein the first magnetic member includes a through-hole which passes through the first magnetic member from a top surface thereof to a bottom surface thereof in a vertical direction, the toroidal shape being defined by the through-hole, and
- wherein the first vertical length of the first magnetic member is greater than the second vertical length of the second magnetic member.
An EMI filter, comprising:
- a first magnetic member including a top surface, a bottom surface, and a through hole that is passing through the top surface and the bottom surface in a vertical direction;
- a second magnetic member disposed on at least one of an inner surface of the first magnetic member or an outer surface of the first magnetic member,
- wherein a vertical height along the vertical direction of the first magnetic member is greater than at least one of a vertical height along the vertical direction of an inner second magnetic member of the second magnetic member and a vertical height along the vertical direction of an outer second magnetic member of the second magnetic member.
