Individualized vehicle power consumption profile generation

A vehicle comprising:

• an energy storage system and a controller, the controller including a memory storing instructions for causing the controller to perform a method of:
• identifying a set of data elements corresponding to a specific upcoming trip using a controller, wherein the set of data elements includes whether a planned vehicle route is a ride sharing route, ride sharing trip information of the planned vehicle route, a number of vehicle passengers, a location of vehicle passengers in a vehicle, and weight of a payload;
• identifying whether an existing custom power consumption profile matching the set of data elements is available to the controller and responding to a lack of existing custom power consumption profiles by entering a create custom power consumption profile routine;
• responding to identification of an existing custom power consumption profile by providing a vehicle operator with at least one suggested modification to the existing custom power consumption profile;
• and
• enacting the identified custom power consumption profile including all accepted suggested modifications of the at least one suggested modification.

A vehicle controller comprising:

• a processer and a memory, the memory storing instructions for causing the vehicle controller to perform a method of:
• identifying a set of data elements corresponding to a specific upcoming trip using a controller, wherein the set of data elements includes whether a planned vehicle route is a ride sharing route, ride sharing trip information of the planned vehicle route, a number of vehicle passengers, a location of vehicle passengers in a vehicle, and weight of a payload;
• identifying whether an existing custom power consumption profile matching the set of data elements is available to the controller and responding to a lack of existing custom power consumption profiles by entering a create custom power consumption profile routine;
• responding to identification of an existing custom power consumption profile by providing a vehicle operator with at least one suggested modification to the existing custom power consumption profile;
• and
• enacting the identified custom power consumption profile including all accepted suggested modifications of the at least one suggested modification.
