Abstract
A collection bottle includes a lid and a canister. The canister has a closed end and an opened end and defines an interior space. The lid includes a lid body having a first side and a second side, a shield handle, and one or more ports. The first side of the lid body is configured to be coupled to the open end of the body to close the interior space. The shield handle and the one or more ports extend from the second side of the lid body. The shield handle extends a first distance from the second side of the lid body. The one or more ports extend a second distance from the second side of the lid body. The first distance is greater than the first distance.
Claims18
A collection bottle comprising:
- a canister having a closed end and an open end and defining an interior space;
- and
- a lid having a first outer perimeter and including
- a lid body having a first side and a second side and being configured to be coupled to the open end of the lid body to close the interior space,
- a shield handle including a disk-shaped portion having a second outer perimeter that is less than the first outer perimeter of the lid and a recessed area continuously disposed between the disk-shaped portion and the first side of the lid body, the recessed area having a third outer perimeter that is less than the second outer perimeter, and
- one or more ports,
- the shield handle and the one or more ports extending from the second side of the lid body,
- the shield handle extending a first distance from the second side of the lid body,
- the one or more ports extending a second distance from the second side of the lid body,
- the first distance being greater than the second distance.
A collection bottle transport package comprising:
- a container configured to receive one or more rows of collection bottles, each row of the one or more rows including a plurality of collection bottles arranged side-by-side, each of the collection bottles of the plurality of collection bottles including:
- a canister having a closed end and an open end and defining an interior space;
- and
- a lid having a first outer perimeter and including
- a lid body having a first side and a second side and being configured to be coupled to an open end of the lid body to close the interior space,
- a shield handle including a disk-shaped portion having a second outer perimeter that is less than the first outer perimeter of the lid and a recessed area continuously disposed between the disk-shaped portion and the first side of the lid body, the recessed area having a third outer perimeter that is less than the second outer perimeter, and
- one or more ports,
- the shield handle and the one or more ports extending from the second side of the lid body
- the shield handle extending a first distance from the second side of the lid body,
- the one or more ports extending a second distance from the second side of the lid body,
- the first distance being greater than the second first distance.
