Maxillary devices, controller station, and methods of treating and/or diagnosing medical disorders

A method of treatment comprising:

• providing to a user a maxillary device having a first housing connectable to a tooth of a user or connectable or integral with a teeth covering and a photograph or videography array oriented to map an airway structure of the user and/or record sounds of the user, wherein the housing encloses an on-board circuit board and a power source and comprises a tooth connecting portion, a sensor in operative communication with the on-board circuit board, and a palate housing portion extending from the tooth connecting portion, wherein the palate housing portion encloses therein a stimulator having an electrode electrically connected to the on-board circuit board and the power source, and the palate housing is contoured to position the stimulator against the soft palate and uvula of a user's mouth, and is configured for the stimulator to stiffen the soft palate and uvula;
• activating the maxillary device;
• and
• positioning the maxillary device in the user's oral cavity;
• wherein activating the maxillary device comprises, via the sensor, acquiring physiological data from the oral cavity and activating the stimulator as needed in response thereto.

A method of treatment comprising:

• providing to a user a maxillary device having a first housing connectable to a tooth of a user or connectable or integral with a teeth covering and a videography array oriented to record sounds of the user, wherein the housing encloses an on-board circuit board and a power source and comprises a tooth connecting portion, a sensor in operative communication with the on-board circuit board, and a palate housing portion extending from the tooth connecting portion, wherein the palate housing portion encloses therein a stimulator having an electrode electrically connected to the on-board circuit board and the power source, and the palate housing is contoured to position the stimulator against the soft palate and uvula of a user's mouth, and is configured for the stimulator to stiffen the soft palate and uvula;
• activating the maxillary device;
• and
• positioning the maxillary device in the user's oral cavity;
• wherein activating the maxillary device comprises, via the sensor, acquiring physiological data from the oral cavity and activating the stimulator as needed in response thereto.
