Abstract
Provided are a polymer-coated substrate in which a polymer layer formed on the surface of a substrate is stable for a long period of time even in a liquid environment, and a medical analysis device including the polymer-coated substrate. Included is a polymer-coated substrate which includes a substrate, a silane compound layer formed on a surface of the substrate, and a polymer layer formed on the silane compound layer.
Claims6
A polymer-coated substrate, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a silane compound layer formed on a surface of the substrate;
- and
- a polymer layer formed on the silane compound layer,
- wherein the polymer layer is formed of:
- (i) at least one selected from the group consisting of polymers represented by the following formula (I):
- where R51 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group;
- R52 represents an alkyl group;
- p represents 1 to 8;
- m represents 1 to 5;
- and n represents the number of repetitions and n is 15 to 1500, or
- (ii) a copolymer of at least one hydrophilic monomer selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following formula (II) with an additional monomer:
- wherein R51 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group;
- R52 represents an alkyl group;
- p represents 1 to 8;
- and m represents 1 to 5.
