Abstract
A golf ball comprising an electrical component is disclosed herein. The electrical component comprises an integrated circuit having a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and a BLUETOOH low energy (BTLE) radio, and at least one battery. A body is composed of an epoxy material, and the body encompasses the electrical component.

A sports ball comprising:
- a sphere comprising flexible circuit board comprising a BLUETOOTH low energy radio having a transmission range of at least 700 meters, a magnetometer, an accelerometer, a microcontroller, a radiofrequency transceiver, at least one inductor, a plurality of capacitors, and at least one battery, wherein the at least one battery contacts the flexible circuit board at three contact points;
- a cover disposed over the sphere;
- wherein the magnetometer is configured to measure spins of the golf ball of at least 5000 rotations per minute.
