Abstract
In order to provide a checking facility for checking workpieces and also a treatment facility for treating workpieces, which enable efficient and reliable quality optimisation, it is proposed that workpiece parameters are detected, for example by means of an automatic checking station, and a workpiece-specific data set is created on this basis and/or from facility parameters.
Claims21
A method for checking workpieces including vehicle bodies, the method comprising:
- determining, with a checking station, one or more workpiece parameters of the workpieces to be checked and/or one or more facility parameters of a treatment facility for treating the workpieces to be checked;
- and
- at least processing and/or compiling, with a control device, the one or more workpiece parameters and/or the one or more facility parameters, wherein a workpiece-specific data set is created for each workpiece, and
- wherein the workpieces, after one or more treatment steps have been performed in one or more treatment stations, are supplied to one or more post-treatment stations if determined correctable by the checking station, and
- wherein if the workpieces are not determined correctable by the checking station, the workpieces are supplied to a storage installation, a spot-repair station or a disposal station.
