Vehicle occupant health risk assessment system

A health risk assessment system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory communicably coupled to the processor and storing a health risk assessment module including computer-readable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to:
• acquire information regarding a travel history of a user of the vehicle;
• determine, for each previous ride the user took in any vehicle, a location at which each other person who rode in the vehicle prior to the previous ride entered the vehicle, and an address of the other person;
• determine a first incidence of a communicable disease, at the location;
• determine a second incidence of the communicable disease, at the address;
• using the travel history information, the first incidence and the second incidence, determine a value of a first health status parameter;
• determine whether the value of the first health parameter exceeds a first threshold;
• and
• responsive to a determination that the value of the first health status parameter exceeds the first threshold, control operation of the vehicle to autonomously drive the vehicle to a facility for disinfection after a ride including the user has been completed.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium for determining a requirement for, and implementing, an infection prevention measure in a vehicle and storing instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to:

• acquire information regarding a travel history of the user;
• determine, for each previous ride the user took in any vehicle, a location at which each other person who rode in the vehicle prior to the previous ride entered the vehicle, and an address of the other person;
• determine a first incidence of a communicable disease, at the location;
• determine a second incidence of the communicable disease, at the address;
• using the travel history information, the first incidence and the second incidence, determine a value of a first health status parameter;
• determine that the value of the first health parameter exceeds a first threshold;
• and
• responsive to the determination that the value of the first health status parameter exceeds the first threshold, control operation of the vehicle to autonomously drive the vehicle to a facility for disinfection after a ride including the user has been completed.

A method for determining a requirement for, and implementing, an infection prevention measure in a vehicle, the method comprising steps of:

• acquiring information regarding a travel history of the user;
• for each other person the user shared a previous ride with, determining a location at which the other person entered the vehicle in which the shared ride occurred, and an address of the other person;
• determining a first incidence of a communicable disease, at the location;
• determining a second incidence of the communicable disease, at the address;
• using the travel history information, the first incidence and the second incidence, determining a value of a first health status parameter;
• determining that the value of the first health parameter exceeds a first threshold;
• responsive to the determination that the value of the first health status parameter exceeds the first threshold, controlling operation of the vehicle to autonomously drive the vehicle to a facility for disinfection after a ride including the user has been completed.
