Abstract
Actuators for rotating an optical-path-folding-element with two, first and second, degrees of freedom in an extended rotation range around two respective rotation axes, folded cameras including such actuators and dual-cameras including a folded camera as above together with an upright camera.
Claims20
A prism actuator, comprising:
- a prism operational to fold an optical path from a first direction to a second direction;
- a top sub-assembly including the prism, a first pin, a second pin, a first yoke and a second yoke;
- and
- a bottom sub-assembly including a first magnet and a second magnet,
- wherein the top sub-assembly is configured to rotate relative to the bottom sub-assembly around a first rotation axis perpendicular to both the first and the second direction,
- wherein the first yoke is fixedly attached to the first pin and the second yoke is fixedly attached to the second pin, and
- wherein the first yoke is pulled to the first magnet and the second yoke is pulled to the second magnet such that the top sub-assembly is prevented from detaching from the bottom sub-assembly.
