Cable termination inspection cover assembly

A synthetic cable assembly comprising:

• a synthetic cable comprising one or more cable sub-ropes forming a core and a jacket surrounding the core, wherein the synthetic cable includes a cable end and a visible portion adjacent the cable end;
• a termination end comprising a socket portion, wherein the cable end of the synthetic cable is secured within the socket portion, wherein the jacket of the synthetic cable extends into the socket portion of the termination end;
• a shell configured to extend around and at least partially enclose the socket portion of the synthetic cable;
• and
• an inspection port defined into the shell for viewing access of at least a portion of the synthetic cable and at least a portion of the termination end, wherein the inspection port is positioned on the shell at the socket portion of the termination end and the visible portion of the synthetic cable.
