Abstract
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of: engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one first type cavity, and attaching the second window component to the first window component by introducing an anchor portion of the second window component into the least one first type cavity.
Claims16
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of:
- a) engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one cavity by subjecting the first window component to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1;
- and
- b) attaching the second window component to the first window component by introducing an anchor portion into the at least one cavity, said anchor portion being an adhesive provided in a layer between the engraved surface of the first window component and the second window component.
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of:
- a) engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one cavity by subjecting the first window component to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1;
- and
- b) attaching the second window component to the first window component by applying an adhesive in a fluid form on the first window component wherein the adhesive has a viscosity such that the adhesive flows into and fills the at least one cavity and forms an adhesive layer between the engraved surface of the first window component and the second window component.
A method for attaching a first window component to a second window component comprising the steps of:
- a) engraving a surface of the first window component with at least one cavity by subjecting the first window component to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1;
- and
- b) attaching the second window component to the first window component by applying a viscous adhesive on the first window component wherein the viscous adhesive has a viscosity such that the viscous adhesive flows into and fills the at least one cavity and forms an adhesive layer between the engraved surface of the first window component and the second window component without heating the viscous adhesive.
