Portable synchronous condenser apparatus, system, method of operation, and method of manufacture

A portable synchronous condenser apparatus comprising:

• a first synchronous condenser;
• a second synchronous condenser;
• and
• one or more physical processors configured by machine-readable instructions to:
• establish communication channels between the first synchronous condenser and one or more power generators in a set of power generators and between the second synchronous condenser and the one or more power generators, such that a first communication channel is established between the first synchronous condenser and a first power generator in the set of power generators, and a second communication channel is established between the second synchronous condenser and the first power generator, wherein the first synchronous condenser and the second synchronous condenser are electrically coupled in parallel to the first power generator;
• obtain, through the communication channels, operation information of the one or more power generators, the operation information including operating parameter values of operating parameters of the one or more power generators, the operating parameter values characterizing state of power generation by the one or more power generators over time, the operation information including a first set of operating parameter values for the first power generator;
• and
• control an operation of the first synchronous condenser and/or the second synchronous condenser based on the operation information of the one or more power generators, including controlling the operation of the first synchronous condenser based on the first set of operating parameter values, and/or controlling the operation of the second synchronous condenser based on the first set of operating parameter values.

A synchronous condenser system comprising:

• a set of diesel generators configured to supply power;
• a first synchronous condenser;
• a second synchronous condenser, the first synchronous condenser and the second synchronous condenser being electrically coupled in parallel to one or more diesel generators in the set of diesel generators;
• and
• one or more physical processors configured by machine-readable instructions to:
• control operation of the first synchronous condenser and/or the second synchronous condenser based on state of power generation of the one or more diesel generators in the set of diesel generators, including controlling operation of the first synchronous condenser based on a first state of power generation of a first diesel generator in the set of diesel generators, and/or controlling operation of the second synchronous condenser based on the first state of power generation.
