Attachment member, and seat equipped with airbag module

A seat equipped with an airbag module comprising:

• a frame member that is provided at a side of the seat;
• the airbag module;
• a guide member configured to guide a deployment direction of the airbag module;
• and
• an attachment member configured to attach the guide member to the frame member,
• wherein
• the airbag module comprises:
• an airbag;
• an inflator;
• and
• a retainer that holds the inflator,
• the attachment member is interposed between the frame member and the retainer,
• the attachment member includes a plate-shaped portion that extends in a front to back direction, and
• a front end of the plate-shaped portion is positioned in front of a front end of the retainer.

A method for manufacturing a seat equipped with an airbag module, comprising:

• preparing a frame member that is provided at a side of the seat;
• preparing the airbag module, wherein the airbag module comprises an airbag, an inflator and a retainer that holds the inflator;
• preparing a guide member configured to guide a deployment direction of the airbag module;
• preparing an attachment member configured to attach the guide member to the frame member;
• and
• mounting the attachment member to the frame member so that the attachment member is interposed between the frame member and the retainer,
• wherein
• the attachment member includes:
• a plate-shaped portion that is in contact with a side surface of the frame member;
• a first wall portion that extends from the plate-shaped portion in a direction intersecting with the plate-shaped portion;
• and
• a second wall portion that extends from the plate-shaped portion in the direction intersecting with the plate-shaped portion and disposed behind the first wall portion, and
• the first wall portion protrudes inward in a seat width direction relative to the second wall portion.
