Multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) beacon broadcast

A wireless communication device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memories coupled with the one or more processors and that store processor-executable code that, when executed by the one or more processors, is configured to cause the wireless communication device to:
• broadcast, on a first channel via a first access point (AP) of the wireless communication device, a first beacon frame that carries basic service set identifier (BSSID) information associated with a first plurality of nontransmitted BSSIDs of a first multiple BSSID set, wherein the first AP corresponds to a first transmitted BSSID of the first multiple BSSID set;
• and
• broadcast, on the first channel via a second AP of the wireless communication device, a second beacon frame that carries BSSID information associated with a second plurality of nontransmitted BSSIDs of a second multiple BSSID set that is different than the first multiple BSSID set, wherein the second AP corresponds to a second transmitted BSSID of the second multiple BSSID set.

A wireless communication device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memories coupled with the one or more processors and that store processor-executable code that, when executed by the one or more processors, is configured to cause the wireless communication device to:
• broadcast, on a first channel at a first time, a first beacon frame that carries basic service set identifier (BSSID) information associated with one or more first nontransmitted BSSIDs of a multiple BSSID set and, on the first channel at a second time, a second beacon frame that carries BSSID information associated with one or more second nontransmitted BSSIDs of the multiple BSSID set that are different than the one or more first nontransmitted BSSIDs;
• and
• broadcast, on the first channel a first time interval after the first beacon frame, a third beacon frame that carries the BSSID information associated with the one or more first nontransmitted BSSIDs of the multiple BSSID set and, on the first channel a second time interval after the second beacon frame, a fourth beacon frame that carries the BSSID information associated with the one or more second nontransmitted BSSIDs of the multiple BSSID set that are different than the one or more first nontransmitted BSSIDs.
