Abstract
Provided is a toner comprising: a toner particle containing a binder resin; and an organic silicon polymer particle on a surface of the toner particle, wherein the binder resin contains a crystalline resin, and when the toner particle is pelletized and a Young's modulus of the toner measured in a micro compression test at 25° C. is represented by TE (MPa) and when one organic silicon polymer particle is separated from the toner and a Young's modulus of the one organic silicon polymer particle measured in a micro compression test at 25° C. is represented by SiE (MPa), TE and SiE satisfies 800≤TE≤2500 and 1.5≤SiE/TE≤10.0.
Claims7
A toner, comprising:
- a toner particle containing a binder resin, the binder resin containing a crystalline resin;
- and
- an organic silicon polymer particle on a surface of the toner particle, wherein
- 800≤TE≤2500 and 1.5≤SiE/TE≤10.0
- when TE (MPa) is a Young's modulus measured with a micro compression tester at 25° C. using a test piece obtained by pelletizing the toner and SiE (MPa) is a Young's modulus measured with the micro compression tester at 25° C. using the organic silicon polymer particle separated from the toner, and
- 0.20≤S4/SA≤0.60, 0.00≤S3/SA≤0.50 and 0.20≤S2/SA≤0.70
- when SA is a total peak area derived from an organic silicon polymer in a measurement of 29Si-NMR using the organic silicon polymer particle as a specimen, S4 is a peak area derived from a Q unit structure, S3 is a peak area derived from a T unit structure, and S2 is a peak area derived from a D unit structure.
