Abstract
A paver supporting apparatus is provided and includes a pedestal and a modular grid. The pedestal includes a top plate with a plate extender and a plurality of male lock pins positioned around a circumference of the top plate. The modular grid is positioned and secured on the top plate such that the top plate supports the modular grid in an elevated position and connects with one of the plurality of male lock pins. The modular grid includes a lattice extending generally between perimeter edges of the modular grid and defining a plurality of lattice.
Claims21
A paver supporting apparatus comprising:
- A pedestal having a top plate with a plate extender and a plurality of male lock pins positioned around a circumference of the top plate;
- and
- a modular grid positioned and secured on the top plate such that the top plate supports the modular grid in an elevated position and connects with at least one of the plurality of male lock pins by a plurality of pedestal receivers, wherein each of the plurality of pedestal receivers is an opening and a ribbed receiver corresponding to each of the plurality of male lock pins, the modular grid having a lattice extending generally between perimeter edges of the modular grid and defining a plurality of lattice openings, at least one of the plurality of pedestal receivers sharing a common wall with at least one of the plurality of lattice openings.
A paver supporting apparatus comprising:
- a plurality of interconnected modular grids, each of the plurality of interconnected modular grids having a plurality of lattice openings, each of the plurality of interconnected modular grids further having a plurality of pedestal receivers each with a ribbed receiver;
- a corresponding plurality of pedestals, each having a top plate and a plurality of male lock pins with a ribbed surface, coupling the plurality of interconnected modular grids to the plurality of pedestals.
