Antibody polypeptides and uses thereof

A pharmaceutical composition comprising an antibody polypeptide with binding specificity for prostate specific antigen (PSA), and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, diluent or carrier, wherein the antibody polypeptide comprises

• (i) a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:2 and SEQ ID NO:3;
• and
• (ii) a light chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:4 and SEQ ID NO:5 and SEQ ID NO:6,
• wherein the heavy chain variable region and light chain variable region comprise framework amino acid sequences from one or more human antibodies.

A method for the detection of prostate tumour cells in a subject, the method comprising:

• (a) administering an antibody polypeptide with binding specificity for prostate specific antigen (PSA) to a subject;
• (b) determining whether the administered antibody polypeptide binds to free PSA in the subject,
• wherein the binding of the administered antibody polypeptide to PSA in the subject is indicative of the presence of prostate tumour cells in the subject,
• wherein the antibody polypeptide comprises
• (i) a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:2 and SEQ ID NO:3;
• and
• (ii) a light chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:4 and SEQ ID NO:5 and SEQ ID NO:6,
• wherein the heavy chain variable region and light chain variable region comprise framework amino acid sequences from one or more human antibodies.
