Abstract
A graspable handle which incorporates a force indicator with attachment to secure said device to provide resistance for purposes of exercise.
Claims21
A force registering device comprising:
- a graspable handle incorporating an indicator configured to register and indicate forces;
- an attachment as a means to anchor or secure said handle to provide resistance;
- a sensor contained in the graspable handle configured to vary an electrical signal
- to the indicator in response to a force applied by a user thereto, wherein the data from the sensor is transferred or transmitted to the indicator in the handle;
- wherein the indicator is positioned within the graspable portion of the handle such that the indicator remains within the direct line-of-sight of the user during isometric exertion, enabling real-time force feedback while exercising;
- and
- wherein said force registering device may be used in athletic or rehabilitative applications.
