Optical fiber ribbon, optical fiber connection component, and method for manufacturing optical fiber connection component

An optical fiber ribbon comprising:

• a plurality of optical fibers each including a glass fiber including a plurality of cores and a cladding covering the plurality of cores, and a resin coating covering the glass fiber, the plurality of optical fibers being arranged in parallel,
• wherein a distance between central axes of adjacent optical fibers among the plurality of optical fibers in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the plurality of optical fibers is larger than an outer diameter of each of the plurality of optical fibers,
• wherein a respective reference line that passes through centers of two or more cores of the plurality of cores is different between the adjacent optical fibers;
• and
• a dummy line disposed between the adjacent optical fibers,
• wherein the dummy line and the adjacent optical fibers are intermittently bonded to each other in the longitudinal direction, and
• wherein the dummy line and the adjacent optical fibers are structurally different from each other.
