Abstract
A catalyst includes an alumina support, GdFeO3 distributed on the alumina support, and Fe2O3 distributed on the alumina support. The GdFeO3 is in the form of an orthorhombic perovskite structure with a Pbnm space group, and the Fe2O3 is in the form of γ-Fe2O3. Further, the catalyst includes 1 percent by weight (wt. %) to 7 wt. % of Gd and 5 wt. % to 15 wt. % of Fe based on a total weight of the catalyst.

A catalyst, comprising:
- an alumina support;
- GdFeO3 distributed on the alumina support;
- and
- Fe2O3 distributed on the alumina support,
- wherein the GdFeO3 is in the form of an orthorhombic perovskite structure with a Pbnm space group, and the Fe2O3 is in the form of γ-Fe2O3,
- wherein the catalyst comprises 1-7 wt. % of Gd and 5-15 wt. % of Fe based on a total weight of the catalyst.
