Pharmaceutical composition or health food for treating and/or alleviating nervous diseases

A pharmaceutical composition or health food for treating and/or alleviating nervous diseases, comprising:

• a ferment of a water extract of a plant belonging to the family Gracilariaceae, wherein
• the ferment of the water extract of a plant belonging to the family Gracilariaceae is a lactic acid bacterium fermented product, wherein the lactic acid bacterium fermented product contains the lactic acid bacterium, and
• the plant belonging to the family Gracilariaceae is Gracilaria blodgettii, and
• the lactic acid bacterium is a bacterium belonging to the genus Lactobacillus and the bacterium belonging to the genus Lactobacillus is Lactobacillus plantarum, and
• the ferment of the water extract of a plant belonging to the family Gracilariaceae is capable of treating and/or alleviating nervous diseases, and
• the nervous disease is depression or anxiety;
• and
• a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or salt.
