Anonymous proxying

A method for anonymizing a request for content, comprising:

• receiving a message from a client device, the client device containing reflector code for reflecting responses to content requests, the message including an IP address of the client device;
• adding the IP address of the client device to a set of IP addresses;
• receiving a message from a user device;
• and
• sending, to the user device and in response to receiving the message from the user device, a portion of the set of IP addresses corresponding to a set of client devices, the portion including the IP address of the client device, and a grouping or ranking of the set of client devices based on client device characteristics.

A non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor of a system, cause the system to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a message including an IP address of a client device, the client device containing reflector code for:
• forwarding SYN requests received from the system;
• forwarding received SYN ACK response to the system;
• and
• reflecting responses to content requests;
• adding the IP address of the client device to a set of IP addresses;
• receiving a message from a first user device;
• and
• sending, to the first user device and in response to receiving the message from the first user device, a portion of the set of IP addresses corresponding to a set of client devices, the portion including the IP address of the client device, and a grouping or ranking of the set of client devices based on client device characteristics.
