Abstract
A cartridge for positioning within a pharmaceutical delivery device is described. The cartridge has a housing with a light pipe section which acts as a light pipe having an input location, and a light diffusing section optically coupled to the light pipe. The light diffusing section extends beyond a plane defined by the housing.

A cartridge configured to be received in a pharmaceutical delivery device comprising a housing, the cartridge comprising:
- a light pipe section that acts as a light pipe and that has an input location;
- and
- a light diffusing section optically coupled to the light pipe, wherein at least a portion of the light diffusing section extends outside of at least a portion of an outer surface of the housing.
A cartridge configured to be received in a pharmaceutical delivery device comprising a housing, the cartridge comprising:
- a light pipe section that acts as a light pipe and that has an input location;
- and
- a layer at least partially lining a surface of the cartridge, the layer optically coupled to the light pipe, and the layer being at least partially transparent.
A cartridge configured to be received in a pharmaceutical delivery device comprising a housing, the cartridge comprising:
- a light pipe section that acts as a light pipe and that has an input location;
- and
- a light diffusing section optically coupled to the light pipe,
- wherein the light diffusing section is made from the same material as the cartridge.
