Abstract
An audio system includes at least one acoustic transducer having at least one a group of: a membrane and an acoustic modulator; or a membrane, acoustic resonator, and acoustic coupler; at least one microphone receiving an acoustic signal; a substrate; and a package. The at least one acoustic transducer and one microphone are attached to the substrate and encapsulated by the package.
Claims13
An audio system comprising:
- at least one acoustic transducer, wherein the acoustic transducer includes at least one a group of:
- a membrane and an acoustic modulator;
- or a membrane, acoustic resonator, and acoustic coupler;
- at least one microphone, separate from the acoustic transducer, receiving an acoustic signal;
- a single substrate having a first side and an opposing second side;
- and
- a single package;
- wherein the at least one acoustic transducer is mounted on and electrically connected to the first side of the single substrate and the at least one microphone is mounted on and electrically connected to the first or the second side of the single substrate, and
- wherein the entire single substrate is encapsulated by the single package including the at least one acoustic transducer and the at least one microphone.
