Abstract
This protection element is provided with a first terminal, as well as a second terminal and a third terminal that are connected to the first terminal. Regarding the electrical resistance of a fuse element connecting the first terminal and the second terminal, at least a portion of a fuse element connecting the first terminal and the third terminal has a higher electrical resistance than the fuse element connecting the first terminal and the second terminal.

A protection element comprising:
- a first terminal;
- and
- a second terminal and third terminal respectively connected to the first terminal via lines having at least one fusible part,
- wherein
- at least a portion of the at least one fusible part between the first terminal and the third terminal has a higher electrical resistance than the at least one fusible part between the first terminal and the second terminal,
- the first terminal is connected to a power source capable of charge and discharge,
- the second terminal is connected to a charge line, and
- the third terminal is connected to a discharge line.
