Abstract
A management device that may communicate with at least one devices is disclosed. The management device may include a communication logic to communicate with the devices over a communication channels about data associated with the devices. The management device may also include reception logic that may receive a query from a host. The query may request information from the management device about the devices. The management device may also include a transmission logic to send the data about the devices to the host. The host may be configured to send a message to the devices.
Claims14
A first device, comprising:
- a component to store a data associated with a second device, the component configured to poll the second device for the data and to receive the data from the second device;
- and
- a circuit to receive a query requesting the data associated with the second device and to send a response to the query, the response including the data associated with the second device.
A method, comprising:
- polling, by a first device, a second device for a data associated with the second device;
- receiving, at the first device from the second device, the data associated with the second device;
- receiving, at the first device, a query for the data associated with the second device;
- accessing, by the first device, the data associated with a second device;
- and
- sending the data associated with a second device from the first device in a response to the query.
A system, comprising:
- a chassis;
- a processor in the chassis;
- and
- a first device, including:
- a component to store a data associated with a second device, the component configured to poll the second device for the data associated with the second device and to receive the data associated with the second device from the second device;
- and
- a circuit to receive a query requesting the data associated with the second device and to send a response to the query, the response including the data associated with the second device.
