Toner container including a pouch and portions supporting the pouch

A toner container for accommodating toner, the toner container comprising:

• a pouch configured to accommodate the toner therein and provided with an opening at a first end portion of the pouch with respect to a first direction, with a width of the pouch in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction being wider than a width of the pouch in a third direction that is perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction;
• a base attached to the first end portion of the pouch and provided with a supplying opening communicating with the opening of the pouch, the supplying opening being configured to permit supply of the toner to outside of the toner container;
• a shutter configured to move between an open position and a closed position with respect to the base, the open position being a position in which the shutter opens the supplying opening to permit supply of the toner to outside of the toner container, the closed position being a position in which the shutter closes the supplying opening, with the shutter being engaged to the base in the open position and the closed position;
• a first supporting portion provided outside of the pouch and supporting the pouch on a first side of the first end portion of the pouch with respect to the second direction, the first supporting portion extending in a direction from the first end portion of the pouch to a second end portion of the pouch that is opposite to the first end portion of the pouch with respect to the first direction;
• and
• a second supporting portion provided outside of the pouch and supporting the pouch on a second side of the first end portion of the pouch that is opposite to the first side of the first end portion of the pouch with respect to the second direction, the second supporting portion extending in the direction from the first end portion of the pouch to the second end portion of the pouch,
• wherein, as seen in the third direction, a central portion of the pouch between the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion with respect to the second direction is exposed to outside of the first and second supporting portions.
