Abstract
In some embodiments, an archery bow comprises a riser, a first limb and a second limb. A first rotatable member is arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second rotatable member is arranged to rotate about a second axis. A bowstring is attached to the first rotatable member and arranged to bias the first rotatable member in a first rotational direction about the first axis. A power cable is attached to the first rotatable member. A servicing string is arranged for attachment to the first rotatable member and arranged to bias the first rotatable member in a second rotational direction about the first axis.
Claims23
An archery bow comprising:
- a riser, a first limb and a second limb;
- a first rotatable member arranged to rotate about a first axis;
- a second rotatable member arranged to rotate about a second axis;
- a bowstring attached to the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member;
- a power cable attached to the first rotatable member;
- and
- a servicing string attachable to the archery bow;
- the archery bow comprising a brace condition wherein the bowstring biases the first rotatable member in a first rotational direction about the first axis and the power cable biases the first rotatable member in a second rotational direction about the first axis;
- the archery bow comprising a first cable servicing condition wherein the servicing string is attached to the first rotatable member and arranged to bias the first rotatable member in the second rotational direction about the first axis.
An archery bow comprising:
- a riser, a first limb and a second limb;
- a first rotatable member and a second rotatable member;
- a bowstring extending between the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member;
- and
- a power cable;
- the archery bow comprising a brace condition wherein the power cable is under tension;
- the archery bow comprising a servicing condition comprising a servicing string attached to the first rotatable member and to the second rotatable member, the servicing string biasing the first rotatable member in a first rotational direction, the servicing string biasing the second rotatably member in the first rotational direction, wherein the power cable is not under tension.
An archery bow comprising:
- a riser, a first limb and a second limb;
- a first rotatable member arranged to rotate about a first axis, the first rotatable member comprising a first cable servicing post;
- a second rotatable member arranged to rotate about a second axis, the second rotatable member comprising a bowstring servicing post;
- a bowstring attached to the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member;
- a first power cable engaged with the first rotatable member;
- and
- a servicing string attachable to the archery bow;
- the archery bow comprising a brace condition wherein the bowstring biases the first rotatable member in a first rotational direction about the first axis and the first power cable biases the first rotatable member in a second rotational direction about the first axis;
- the archery bow comprising a first cable servicing condition wherein the servicing string is attached to the bowstring servicing post and the first cable servicing post, wherein the servicing string biases the first rotatable member in the second rotational direction about the first axis.
