## Abstract

A disposable absorbent hygiene product is provided, including a main part having a body facing surface intended to face the body of a user and a garment facing surface intended to face away from the body of a user. The main part includes a liquid permeable topsheet at the body facing surface, a liquid impermeable backsheet at the garment facing surface, and an absorbent assembly arranged between the topsheet and the backsheet. In front and back regions of the absorbent assembly, the absorbent assembly includes cellulosic fibers mixed with super absorbent polymers, with a central region of the absorbent assembly providing from 70% to 100% of the total retention capacity of the absorbent assembly.

wherein in the front and back regions, the absorbent assembly comprises cellulosic fibers mixed with super absorbent polymers, with a super absorbent polymer concentration of from 0 to 30 weight %, based on a total weight of cellulosic fibers and super absorbent polymer, and a cellulosic fiber basis weight of from 50 to 200 g/m2;
wherein said absorbent assembly comprises:
a first absorbent core, an entirety of which comprises cellulosic fibers mixed with super absorbent polymers, with a super absorbent polymer concentration of from 0 to 30 weight %, and having a cellulosic fiber basis weight of from 50 to 200 g/m2, said first absorbent core extending over an entirety of the longitudinal length of the absorbent assembly, and
a second absorbent core smaller than the first absorbent core in the longitudinal direction and positioned in said central region and in stacked relationship with said first absorbent core, the first absorbent core being closer to the body facing surface than the second absorbent core; and
wherein said central region provides from 70% to 100% of a total retention capacity of the absorbent assembly.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)
