Abstract
[Problem] To provide an arpeggiator capable of creating a rich arpeggio performance that includes multiple pieces of performance information, and a program equipped with a function therefor. [Solution] When the key press mode for a sounding part is a chord, a synthesizer 1 acquires all note numbers from a remain table for the sounding part in a setting table 11e and stores all the note numbers in an Arp note memory 12b. This allows all the notes corresponding to the note numbers set in the remain table to be concurrently generated at the sounding time set in an Arp pattern. That is, an expressive arpeggio based on a chord made up of all the notes corresponding to the note numbers set in the remain table can be produced.
Claims15
An arpeggiator that includes automatic performance part having an arpeggio pattern in which sound production timings of arpeggio constituent sounds are stored and for automatically playing an arpeggio by performing sound production based on note numbers input by a performer at the sound production timings in the arpeggio pattern, the arpeggiator comprising:
- a note storage part for storing the note numbers input by the performer and corresponding to a number of sounds used in at least one arpeggio performance group;
- and
- a maximum-number-of-sounds storage part for storing a maximum number of sounds used in the at least one arpeggio performance group,
- wherein the automatic performance part automatically plays the arpeggio by performing the sound production based on the note numbers stored in the note storage part at the sound production timings stored in the arpeggio pattern, and
- wherein, in a case where the number of note numbers input by the performer exceeds the maximum number of sounds, the automatic performance part automatically plays the arpeggio on a basis of note numbers from a most recently input note number to the maximum number of sounds among the note numbers stored in the note storage part regardless of a state of a hold pedal being on or off.
A recording medium, which is computer-readable and records a program equipped with an arpeggiator function of causing a computer having a storage portion to automatically play an arpeggio by performing sound production based on note numbers input by a performer at sound production timings in an arpeggio pattern,
- the storage portion functioning as storage part for storing the arpeggio pattern in which sound production timings of arpeggio constituent sounds are stored,
- the program equipped with an arpeggiator function causing the computer to execute:
- a note storage step of storing the note numbers input by the performer and corresponding to a number of sounds used in at least one arpeggio performance group;
- a maximum-number-of-sounds storage step of storing a maximum number of sounds used in the at least one arpeggio performance group;
- and
- a sound production step of performing the sound production based on the note numbers stored in the note storage step at the sound production timings stored in the arpeggio pattern,
- wherein, in a case where a number of note numbers input by the performer exceeds the maximum number of sounds, an automatic performance part automatically plays the arpeggio on a basis of note numbers from a most recently input note number to the maximum number of sounds among the note numbers stored in the note storage step regardless of a state of a hold pedal being on or off.
A method of making an arpeggio using an arpeggiator that includes an automatic performance part having an arpeggio pattern in which sound production timings of arpeggio constituent sounds are stored and for automatically playing an arpeggio by performing sound production based on note numbers input by a performer at the sound production timings in the arpeggio pattern, the method of making an arpeggio comprising:
- a note storage step of storing the note numbers input by the performer and corresponding to a number of sounds used in at least one arpeggio performance group;
- a maximum-number-of-sounds storage step of storing a maximum number of sounds used in the at least one arpeggio performance group;
- and
- a sound production step of performing the sound production based on the note numbers stored in the note storage step at the sound production timings stored in the arpeggio pattern,
- wherein, in a case where the number of note numbers input by the performer exceeds the maximum number of sounds, the automatic performance part automatically plays the arpeggio on a basis of note numbers from a most recently input note number to the maximum number of sounds among the note numbers stored in the note storage step regardless of a state of a hold pedal being on or off.
