Robotic tool reconfiguration system

A tool reconfiguration system comprising:

• a robot;
• an end effector configured to be attached to the robot and to a vehicle component, the end effector being adjustable between a plurality of configurations of suction cups;
• a photogrammetry module including a first camera that is configured to capture images of the end effector;
• an adjustment module configured to:
• receive the images of the end effector;
• and
• determine whether the end effector has been adjusted from a first configuration of the suction cups to a second configuration of the suction cups based on at least one of the images;
• and
• a robot control module configured to, in response to a determination that the end effector has been adjusted from the first configuration of the suction cups to the second configuration of the suction cup, selectively actuate one or more components of the end effector and adjust a present configuration of the suction cups of the end effector to one of the first configuration of the suction cups.
