Abstract
An apparatus comprises a crosstalk cancelation circuit comprising a plurality of taps to output signals based on a signal transmitted via a first data line; and a summation circuit to combine a signal received by a second data line with the signals output by the plurality of taps to reduce near-end crosstalk present in the signal received by the second data line.
Claims17
An apparatus comprising:
- a crosstalk cancelation circuit comprising:
- a plurality of taps to output signals based on a signal transmitted via a first data line, wherein the plurality of taps comprise a plurality of delay blocks coupled to the first data line, wherein an output of a delay block of the plurality of delay blocks is coupled to an input of a gain block of a plurality of gain blocks of the plurality of taps;
- and
- a summation circuit to combine a signal received by a second data line with the signals output by the plurality of taps to reduce near-end crosstalk present in the signal received by the second data line.

A system comprising:
- a processor core;
- and
- a crosstalk cancelation circuit comprising:
- a plurality of taps to output signals based on a signal transmitted via a first data line, wherein the plurality of taps comprise a plurality of delay blocks coupled to the first data line, wherein an output of a delay block of the plurality of delay blocks is coupled to an input of a gain block of a plurality of gain blocks of the plurality of taps;
- and
- a summation circuit to combine a signal received by a second data line with the signals output by the plurality of taps to reduce near-end crosstalk present in the signal received by the second data line.
3 more elements
A method comprising:
- generating, by a first driver comprising a digital-to-analog converter, a waveform based on a digital sequence provided by a transmitter logic;
- transmitting, by a second driver, a signal via a first data line, wherein the signal via the first data line is based on the waveform;
- providing, by a plurality of taps, output signals based on the waveform;
- and
- combining the output signals provided by the plurality of taps with a signal received by a second data line to reduce near-end crosstalk present in the signal received by the second data line, wherein the combining of the output signals provided by the taps with the signal received by the second data line is a summation of the output signals provided by the taps, each output signal weighted with an individual coefficient.
