Abstract
A pedal device includes a base plate, a pedal supported rotatably, a rotary volume comprising a rotational shaft configured to rotate in association with the pedal, and an engagement member configured to be brought into engagement with a non-rotational portion provided around the rotational shaft of the rotary volume and with the base plate.

A pedal device comprising:
- a base plate;
- a pedal supported rotatably;
- a rotary volume comprising a rotational shaft configured to rotate in association with the pedal;
- and
- an engagement member configured to be brought into engagement with a non-rotational portion provided around the rotational shaft of the rotary volume and with the base plate,
- wherein the engagement member comprises a support hole portion which penetrates the engagement member in an axial direction of the rotational shaft, and
- wherein the non-rotational portion is inserted into the support hole portion.

- a base plate;
- a pedal supported rotatably;
- a rotary volume comprising a rotational shaft configured to rotate in association with the pedal;
- and
- an engagement member configured to be brought into engagement with a non-rotational portion provided around the rotational shaft of the rotary volume and with the base plate,
- wherein a cam member is provided on the rotational shaft, the cam member comprising a substantially cylindrical attachment portion and a cam portion provided in such a manner as to project radially outwards from the substantially cylindrical attachment portion, and
