Abstract
The present disclosure relates generally to a chromatography column adaptor for forming a fluidic connection between a chromatography column and a GC component. The present disclosure also relates to fluidic connections for a gas chromatography system.
Claims20
A chromatography column adaptor configured for fluidically coupling a column to a GC component, the adaptor comprising:
- a GC component interfacing end and a column receiving end;
- an adaptor body comprising a wider adaptor bore at the column receiving end, a narrower adaptor bore at the GC component interfacing end;
- an external conical sealing surface at the GC component interfacing end;
- and
- an internal conical sealing surface at the column receiving end of the wider adaptor bore;
- wherein the narrower adaptor bore forms at least a portion of a flow path through the adaptor body to the GC component.
